Setup

  1. Choose self-hosted for permanent free use or start the 15-day cloud trial
  2. For self-hosting, deploy Chatwoot with Docker or a one-click installer
  3. Create your account and set up an inbox such as website live chat
  4. Go to Profile Settings > Access Token to create a personal token
  5. Send the token in API calls to manage conversations and contacts
  6. Use webhooks to receive real-time conversation events
