About

ClickUp's API covers nearly everything in the app: tasks, lists, docs, time tracking, goals, and webhooks. You authenticate with a free personal API token (OAuth for public apps), and rate limits scale with your workspace plan. The free workspace tier still works with the API. Ideal if your team already lives in ClickUp and wants other tools to feed into it.

Setup

  1. Log in to ClickUp and open your profile → Apps (or My Apps) to generate a personal API token
  2. Copy the token (starts with pk_)
  3. Send requests with the header: Authorization: pk_YOUR_TOKEN
  4. Test by fetching one of your tasks with the example endpoint
  5. Explore the docs for tasks, lists, docs, and webhooks
