eBay's official Browse API lets you search millions of active listings by keyword, category, price, or product ID and get back prices, sellers, photos, and item details. Access is free for registered developers using OAuth. The same system eBay's own apps use. It covers active listings only, not sold-price history.

Setup

  1. Register free at developer.ebay.com.
  2. Create an app to get a client ID and client secret.
  3. Exchange them for an application access token using the client-credentials flow.
  4. Call /buy/browse/v1/item_summary/search with the token in an Authorization header.
