About

Microsoft Clarity is a free behavior-analytics tool (heatmaps, session recordings, rage clicks), and its Data Export API lets you pull aggregated traffic and engagement numbers as data. You get metrics like sessions, engagement time, rage and dead clicks, errors, devices, countries, referrers, and top URLs. The API key comes from your free Clarity project's settings, and the project itself is free forever.

Setup

  2. Install the Clarity tracking script on your site
  3. In project settings, generate an API token
  4. Call the export-data endpoint with the token as a Bearer header
