Supabase gives you a full Postgres database in the cloud with an instant REST API generated for every table. The free tier includes 500 MB of database storage, 1 GB of file storage, and login for up to 50,000 monthly users. You manage everything from a simple dashboard. No server setup.

Setup

  1. Sign up at supabase.com and click New Project.
  2. Pick a name, password, and region. Your database spins up in ~2 minutes.
  3. In the dashboard, open the Table Editor and create your first table.
  4. Copy the anon API key from Project Settings > API and use it in the REST examples from the docs.
